At the Hwy 36 Frontage there is a 60 foot Ingress/Egress Easement and 10 Foot Utility Easement on East Side.These will serve the planned 48 unit Multi Building Residential Complex in the Rear. Site will Have the right to use driveway that will be built on the easement.
All utilities are available and a new 48 unit complex to provide more customers.
Dwight is a lifelong resident of Hartselle. He graduated from Morgan County High (now Hartselle High), and then married his high school sweetheart Jenny Yarbrough. They have two children Brooke Tankersley McHan and Nicholas Tankersley, and two grandsons Zeke and Seth McHan. After graduation, Dwight went to work in the family's auto parts business. He served on the board of the Automotive Aftermarket Association Southeast from 1993-2004. He served as the chairman of the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors in 2000-2001 and as the president of the Hartselle Rotary Club in 2003-2004. In 2003, Dwight and Jenny sold the business to O'Rielly's Auto Parts. Dwight was elected mayor of Hartselle in 2004 and was the first re-elected mayor in over 30 years, when re-elected in 2008. Dwight was certified by the Alabama League of Municipalities as an Advanced Certified Municipal Official. As mayor, Dwight has recruited many new businesses to Hartselle: Lowe's, Premier Furniture, Captain D's, and Cracker Barrel, to name a few, and worked with existing businesses, which helped make Hartselle the city it is today. In 2012, Dwight decided not to run for re-election, but to concentrate on his Real Estate business. He attended the Texas Auction Academy and is a licensed Auctioneer (Alabama License # 5325). He has been designated a Master Auctioneer by United Country Real Estate. Dwight is currently a member Deacon Board at Fairview Church of God, and spent many seasons as a Dixie Youth baseball coach. Jenny is a lifelong resident of Hartselle. After graduating from Morgan County High School, now Hartselle High School, Jenny received an Associate Degree in Accounting from Calhoun Community College. She married her high school sweetheart, Dwight Tankersley, in 1979 and spent the next part of her life working with Dwight in the family auto parts business, raising their two children and volunteering in the community, schools and their church. Jenny served for 5 years as co-chairperson of the Depot days Festival, sponsored by the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce and was the first reciepent of the "Ambassador of the Year" award. Jenny served as vice-president and president of the Hartselle Junior High School PTO 1994-96, treasure for Hartselle Dixie Youth Baseball, and was a long time Sunday School teacher, youth leader and recording secretary at Hartselle First Church of God. The family business was sold in 2003, and in 2005 Jenny became a full-time stay at home gramma. Joining longtime friends, Mark and Rajane Hampton in United Country-Four Oaks Realty and Auctions gives Dwight and Jenny the opportunity to work together again.
